Marketing was a career by coincidence, Beginning when I overheard a co-owner of a start-up speaking on their potential launch. Seeing their online social media presence and their site, I offered to learn while helping the company. That blossomed into me taking the marketing reigns for the launch of the product and the subsequent second generation product. My role varied in working with partners, beginning and growing our influencer marketing program. Creating the advertising creatives and using ad platforms to retain customers. Planning trade show presence and coordination and working those trade shows. Coordinating customer surveys and working with the co-founders and engineers to communicate upcoming features. Moving on from that role, I became a consultant building a few one off websites. Then contracting with another start-up, Try-D Dynamics who attained a seed round and needed all their marketing covered. That included creating a new logo, branding and all initial marketing creatives.
